About the Company Johnson Controls International plc. is a global leader in building performance solutions, delivering technologies and services that increase energy efficiency and operational resilience. Responsibilities The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, building customer relationships and ensuring customer retention. Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls Security products and services to new local commercial customers. Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that present new sales opportunities. Renew existing customer agreements and convert systems to meet customers’ expectations. Identify prospects using lead‑generating techniques and maintain productive relationships with existing customers. Develop and execute call plans, follow‑up strategies, and time‑management tactics. Keep in‑depth knowledge of product line, services and customer needs through ongoing training. Obtain referrals and collaborate with centers of influence. Process work orders and complete all paperwork according to standard procedures. Conduct post‑installation follow‑up to confirm commitments and affirm customer satisfaction. How You Will Do It Adhere to Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, products, programs and services while driving performance. Apply creative lead‑generating techniques to identify prospects. Maintain productive working relationships with existing customers. Establish call plans and follow‑up strategies. Apply time and territory management techniques consistently. Keep an in‑depth knowledge of the product line and customer issues through training and research. Work with centers of influence for referrals. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior‑level executives. Full‑time schedule availability. Local travel availability. College degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years commercial sales experience in security, IT or other technology sales industry, with a proven ability to meet and exceed quota. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary range $50,000–$75,000, plus performance‑based incentive plan. 15 days vacation first year.
