Billing Specialist
LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing entertainment company headquartered in Midtown Manhattan on this Billing Specialist role. We are looking for candidates on a temp-to-hire basis to join an expanding finance team. The ideal candidate will have WIP billing experience, can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can manage the full billing lifecycle with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle billing process, including WIP review, analysis, and conversion to invoices
- Prepare and issue accurate, timely client invoices based on contracts, billing schedules, and project milestones
- Monitor and maintain WIP balances, ensuring proper tracking, adjustments, and aging
- Review and analyze billing data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
- Run and reconcile AR aging and billing reports to support financial visibility
- Assist with cash application and revenue tracking as needed
- Support audit requests and maintain proper billing documentation and compliance
Qualifications
- 1+ year of billing experience
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Pay Details: $32.00 to $36.00 per hour
