Staff Accountant

Description This position is located in Charlotte, NC and is a full-time role. Title Staff Accountant Location Charlotte, NC Employment Type Contract to Hire Compensation Pay Range: $74,500 Per Year Key Responsibilities Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare and post various journal entries and reconciliations. Analyze and reconcile general ledger balances and financial statements. Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Support audits and financial statement reviews with necessary documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accrual-basis accounting and GAAP. Experience with financial statement preparation and variance analysis. Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
