Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

• 1 month gap required between for Per Diem at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Franciscan Alliance.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with drains.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Post-surgical experience preferred.

Special Requests: No travel pairs.

Unit Details: Post-op patients from general surgery, including bariatric surgery, and overflow medical patients. Uses Pyxis.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating days. Every 3rd weekend. Rotating holidays. No call.

Floating Requirements: Float to similar med surg units based on rotation and needs.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required

Driver’s license required for submission
