Wound Care NursePosition Summary Responsible for care and management of patients with wounds/ostomies Education Associate Degree RNLicenses and Certification IL licensed RN BLSExperience and Skills Technical Experience: 2 years RN; Wound Care Experience not required, but preferred.Role Specific Responsibilities Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence based practice/ protocols, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment. Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician and is able to manage a number of patients at the same time Collaborates with other health care providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors, regarding department and patient needs.Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $31.25 To $49.06
