Talent Acquisition Specialist I Location: Fairborn, OH 45324 Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Extension possible based on performance) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Work Model: Hybrid (Monday & Friday Remote | Tuesday–Thursday Onsite) About the Role We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist I to support full-cycle recruiting efforts and help deliver an exceptional hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role will partner closely with Talent Advisors and business leaders to identify, attract, and hire top talent while ensuring an efficient and compliant recruitment process. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with strong sourcing skills, experience managing multiple requisitions, and a passion for building talent pipelines in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer development, and salary negotiations. Partner with Talent Advisors and hiring managers to provide a seamless and positive candidate experience. Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract highly qualified talent for critical and strategic positions. Build and promote employer brand awareness through networking, social media engagement, talent communities, and outreach initiatives. Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and candidate conversion rates to improve recruitment effectiveness. Ensure compliance with established hiring policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activities within applicant tracking systems. Establish strong working relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to talent acquisition processes and candidate engagement. Perform additional recruiting and talent acquisition duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Demonstrated business acumen and sound decision-making abilities. Experience following structured recruiting processes and ensuring compliance. Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or related industries preferred. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); BrassRing experience is a plus. Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent sourcing tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information. Willingness to travel locally as needed. Preferred Qualifications Full-cycle recruiting experience supporting technical or engineering-related positions. Experience building proactive talent pipelines and implementing sourcing strategies. Knowledge of recruitment analytics and hiring best practices. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities. Work Environment This hybrid position requires regular onsite presence three or more days per week at the primary work location.
