Shape meaningful experiences for students in a vibrant educational environment as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) specializing in school-based services. This contract role extends through the 2026-2027 academic year, with the opportunity to make a lasting difference for elementary students in Autism program classrooms.

Engage directly with students across five classrooms situated within three school buildings. Serving approximately 50 students, your expertise will help support and foster independence, functional skills, and participation for young learners on the autism spectrum. The schedule is structured for part-time engagement—Monday through Friday, totaling 22.5 hours per week.

What we're looking for:

• Active OT or COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience with school-based OT services strongly preferred
• Background in working with elementary-aged children and Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly valued
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, paraprofessionals, and families
• Ability to design and adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs

Your role will include:

• Delivering direct occupational therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students in Autism programs
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and staff to implement therapy goals in daily routines
• Conducting evaluations, progress monitoring, and regular documentation in line with school and district protocols
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to team-based planning for student support
