About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Professional Services to lead the onboarding and activation of customers across various product lines. This role is pivotal in owning the end-to-end delivery process, from the initial handoff at contract signature to the transition to the ongoing account owner, with a strong focus on a customer-centric approach to successful payment transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and developing operational strategies, standardizing service delivery, and closely collaborating with sales, product, account management, support, and operations. Essential functions include owning the operating metrics for the professional services function, building and owning a multi-year professional services plan, and segmenting the customer base to provide tailored delivery processes. The role also involves applying AI and automation to enhance capacity and working directly with sales leadership on the front end of the customer journey. Applicants for the Vice President of Professional Services position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in professional services, implementation, or onboarding, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a B2B SaaS or payments business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running a services organization, leading through managers, and driving operational excellence. Experience in deploying AI or automation within a professional services function is essential. The role requires strong management skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Salesforce and project delivery platforms. A background in Fintech, particularly within a private equity-backed company during a growth phase, is highly preferred.
