Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Nights 7:00pm–7:00am, every other weekend, available every other holiday if needed.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 15 weeks.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license (single-state, NY is not compact).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting (2 years preferred).
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Key clinical skills: IV therapy, respiratory support, neuro/stroke care, cardiac care, emergency/trauma care, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an emergency department setting.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient condition and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes

Must submit RTO/block requests at time of submittal. Orientation: 24 hours. Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
