EXPANSION POSITION! Our client, a global manufacturer and recognized leader in their industry, has immediate opening for a Staff Accountant at its central NC Corporate Office.

Job Responsibilities


Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Staff Accountant's include:

• Update and reconcile POS in QuickBooks and Enterprise for retail stores and design centers.
• Update Access Database for Daily transactions.
• Reconciliation of: 1) twelve bank accounts, 2) sales tax, 3) flexible spending accounts-medical and dependent care, 4) royalties, commissions, and various other G/L accounts as needed.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years related experience in balancing bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
• Advanced experience in Excel and QuickBooks (including POS) preferred, including inventory, sales orders, and purchase orders.
• Previous Sales Tax experience a plus.
• Ability to find resolution to complicated accounting problems and assist other accounting staff in harmonizing finance-related issues.
• Excellent report writing, communication and technology skills.
• Ability to skillfully negotiate with internal and external customers and/or vendors in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner.
