The Opportunity The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Mass Notification Systems will serve as the strategic finance leader for the business unit, partnering closely with the Division President and senior leadership to drive informed decision-making and long-term growth. You’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management while preparing executive-level materials for monthly ELT and Board reviews — and you’ll build the reporting systems, dashboards, and KPIs that give the entire organization clear visibility into performance. This is a high-visibility seat at the leadership table, not a back-office role. Your analysis will shape pricing, product strategy, operations, and M&A decisions for a business whose products protect schools, hospitals, and workplaces every day. What You’ll Do Partner with the Division President to review performance, interpret results, and drive improvement initiatives Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting for the business unit Prepare executive materials for monthly leadership reviews and quarterly Board packages Analyze gross margin, production spending, pricing, and SG&A trends to guide decisions Build the dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools that strengthen visibility across the organization Support product-line reporting, SKU rationalization, and portfolio strategy Provide financial leadership for M&A and strategic investment opportunities What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred) 8+ years of progressive FP&A or financial analysis experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred ERP fluency and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills A hands-on “player-coach” style — comfortable diving into the details and presenting to a Board Experience with a private equity sponsor/owner is a plus Why Roanoke?
