Miami, Florida | Medical Device | $150,000–$200,000 Base Salary The Opportunity A growing and ambitious medical device company based in Miami, Florida is looking to appoint a commercially minded Commercial Strategy & Planning Leader to support the next phase of its growth. This is a newly evolving leadership opportunity within a business that is continuing to build its commercial and planning infrastructure. The company is seeking an individual who can combine commercial strategy, financial understanding, business planning and practical execution to help shape how the business grows. The exact title and level of the appointment will remain flexible and will be determined by the experience and calibre of the successful individual. The opportunity could suit an experienced Senior Manager, Director or VP-level professional with the capability and ambition to develop into a broader executive leadership position over time. This is not simply a reporting or planning role. The successful individual will have the opportunity to challenge existing processes, identify new commercial opportunities and build the planning and strategic framework required to support sustainable growth. The Role You will work across commercial, financial and strategic areas of the business, helping leadership understand where the greatest opportunities lie and how the organisation should prioritise its resources. Key responsibilities will include: Developing and supporting the company's commercial strategy and business planning processes. Evaluating new markets, territories and commercial opportunities. Developing market-entry and market-expansion strategies. Analysing pricing structures, margins, profitability and commercial performance. Building financial and commercial models to support strategic decision‑making. Developing forecasting and demand‑planning processes. Improving visibility around future business requirements and commercial performance. Translating strategic objectives into practical business plans and measurable actions. Reviewing existing planning processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. Providing commercial and financial insight to senior leadership. Using data and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and support prioritisation. Working cross‑functionally to align commercial objectives, financial planning and operational requirements. Taking ownership of projects and processes within an evolving business environment. What We're Looking For We are interested in individuals who combine commercial thinking with strong financial and analytical capability. You may come from a background in: Finance FP&A Business Planning Commercial Finance Revenue / Pricing Strategy Demand Planning Business Operations Strategic Planning You should have a strong understanding of how financial and commercial information can be translated into practical business decisions. Experience with the following will be particularly valuable: Pricing strategy and commercial modelling. Market assessment and market expansion. Business and strategic planning. Forecasting and demand planning. Financial analysis and modelling. Commercial performance management. Developing or improving planning processes. Medical Device, MedTech, IVD, Biotechnology or Life Sciences environments. Start‑up, scale‑up or entrepreneurial businesses.
