About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Cybersecurity to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and leading the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, and operations to protect the company's information, systems, products, and customers. This role requires a strong focus on building a Zero Trust posture, governing the secure adoption of AI, and ensuring compliance with the security obligations of a publicly traded company. The VP of Cybersecurity will lead teams in identifying, protecting, detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Candidates for the VP of Cybersecurity position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 10 years' experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 5 years in a security leadership role. Essential duties include defining and owning the cybersecurity strategy, establishing security policies and standards, and operating enterprise cyber risk management. The role also involves leading the design and implementation of a Zero Trust architecture, directing security tooling strategy, and ensuring the secure adoption of enterprise AI. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of security frameworks, hands-on experience with various security technologies, and the ability to manage budgets, teams, and compliance programs. Industry certifications and experience in a regulated environment, particularly in aviation or aerospace, are preferred.
