As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Driver in Greer SC this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.40 / Hour

07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures access control protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials screen visitors and deliveries as required and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and/or controlled areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings grounds gates and perimeter areas remaining attentive to access control concerns and other security-related conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs visitor records and incident reports and follow post orders related to checkpoints badging key control and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
