About the Role
The Company is seeking a General Counsel to provide expert legal advice and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters, including but not limited to, contract negotiations, compliance issues, and risk management. The General Counsel will also be tasked with representing the company in legal proceedings and ensuring that all activities are in line with the relevant laws and regulations. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of the state bar. A minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate and commercial law, is required. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of providing clear and sound legal guidance to the executive team and other stakeholders. Experience in a similar in-house legal role is highly desirable.
