Technical Sales Representative As the industry leader in water technology, Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is growing and needs talented people to help us protect the world's most vital resource. We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our industry‑leading sales team. You will be responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts and work with existing customers to understand their key business drivers and execute system assurance programs. With strong account leadership, you will also convert strategic competitive accounts and sell new technologies to current customers. Responsibilities Generate and execute sales plans in the existing customer base and in assigned competitively‑held accounts to meet profit‑increase goals. Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that maintain and grow sales. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives. Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve customer challenges, escalating as required. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long‑term business relationships with Nalco Water. Minimum Qualifications Three years of technical sales or field sales support experience. Bachelor's degree. Current and valid driver's license. Position requires residing within a commutable distance from Dallas‑Fort Worth, TX. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry). Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience. Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems. Territory and Travel Territory covers about a 200‑mile radius of the surrounding area. Targeted accounts are within the Food & Beverage industries. 25% overnight travel required. Physical Requirements Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties; pre‑employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility. Compensation Range The total compensation range for this position is $93,800 – $140,600, which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Compensation is based on experience, education, training, geography, and other factors. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
