Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a vibrant educational environment near Long Beach, California. This full-time contract position (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm) provides the chance to work closely with a dedicated and responsive leadership team, who are committed to delivering timely feedback—allowing for same-day interviews and offers.

As an SLPA, you'll play a vital role in developing communication skills among K-12 students. You’ll collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and educators to provide therapeutic support, track student progress, and help students achieve their communication goals across a variety of age groups and learning needs. This position is set to run through December 31, 2026, with the potential for extension.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid and current SLPA license in California.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students across a range of ages and abilities (K-12th grade).
• Organized, reliable, and flexible to adapt to varied caseload needs.
• Passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, individually or in small groups.
• Collect data and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, SLPs, administrators).
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
