Special Working Conditions Requires long periods of computer work. Comfortable working around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.). Workload may exceed 30 hours per week and includes weekends and evenings. Requires mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language skills. Work environment has moderately high noise level. Requires adequate ambulation skills to perform duties at the hospital. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and move up to 50 pounds. Requires good hand‑eye coordination, arm‑hand‑finger dexterity, and visual acuity (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception). May be exposed to pets that bite or scratch, anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medication/controlled substances. Experience, Education, and Training High School Diploma preferred. Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to radioactive substances. One year of related experience required; customer service experience preferred.
