Maintenance Technician 2

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Gary, IN . Details of the position are as follows: Job Description Pay is $32/hr to start!! 3 – month assignment with the potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget. Performstroubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairsequipment. Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance. Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management. Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in mechanic. Ability to read and use schematics, gauges, tools and instruments. Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks. Must have sound knowledge and experience in Industrial Maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns along with general maintenance. Must have experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder. Must have a good working knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc. Forklifts and scissor lift driving experience is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
