Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for a full-time Medical Director. The hospital sees cats and dogs and offers veterinary services focused on preventive care, diagnostics, and everyday pet health within a collaborative clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of Medical Director responsibilities within a supportive and patient-focused clinical setting. The successful candidate will oversee clinical standards while supporting the continued delivery of high-quality patient care, diagnostics, and client communication across the hospital. Specific doctor hours will be discussed. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgical procedures including, but not limited to, canine and feline spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound and digital X-ray technology. The practice also features heated hydraulic surgery tables and DDXR equipment, supporting a well-equipped clinical environment. Services offered include a full scope of general practice services focused on preventive medicine, diagnostics, and patient care. In addition, the hospital also provides dog grooming.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
