Environmental Land Use Associate Attorney - Midlevel

Perkins Coie, LLP, a leading international law firm and recognized as one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, is seeking a mid‑level associate to join the Environmental, Energy and Resources group in its San Francisco office. The associate will support our Chambers‑ranked California land use practice. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in California Planning and Zoning Law , preferably including representation of applicants seeking entitlements for residential and commercial projects. Substantive experience under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) , including review and comment on CEQA documents and familiarity with streamlining concepts. Knowledge of the Subdivision Map Act and California housing development laws, including the Housing Accountability Act, the Density Bonus Law, SB 330, etc. Familiarity with fundamental real estate transactional documents, including easements and leases, and the ability to perform basic title review. Compensation and Benefits Compensation range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
