Talent Acquisition Sourcer – Temp-to-Perm
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid
Position Type: Temp-to-Perm
A fast-growing education organization is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join its recruiting team during an exciting period of growth and expansion.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity ideal for someone early in their recruiting career who is proactive, organized, and excited about identifying and engaging great talent. You’ll work closely with recruiters to build candidate pipelines, support high-volume hiring initiatives, and help the organization scale into new markets.
What You'll Do
- Proactively source and engage prospective candidates on a daily basis
- Build and maintain talent pipelines aligned with current and future hiring needs
- Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms to identify qualified candidates
- Develop thoughtful and engaging outreach to attract both active and passive talent
- Partner closely with recruiters to prioritize searches and refine sourcing strategies
- Support hiring initiatives related to organizational and geographic expansion
- Track candidate outreach, activity, and pipeline progress within recruiting systems
- Research talent markets and stay informed on hiring trends and candidate availability
- Help identify creative new sourcing channels and strategies
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0–1+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience
- Familiarity with the New York City talent market
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar candidate sourcing tools
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create compelling candidate outreach
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in building a career in recruiting and talent acquisition
