Urgent Care Veterinarian

Kings Veterinary Hospital is a progressive and well‑equipped small animal hospital in an affluent demographic area just 20 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. We have been providing top‑quality veterinary care with a personalized and compassionate feel since 1995. Our team of 10 doctors work in a collaborative effort to provide the best care available in our area while enjoying a positive work/life balance. We are seeking a full‑time veterinarian with general practice and urgent care experience, or those that are interested in both. Ideal Candidate Looking for full‑time hours with flexible options. Urgent Care/GP background with interest in focusing on urgent care. Seeking a fast‑paced hospital where days go by quickly. Collaborative environment working alongside multiple experienced DVMs. What We Will Offer Generous Compensation ( $135,000–$175,000 per year ) and up to $25,000 in bonuses. Urgent Care support ratio of 4:1, support staff to doctor. Focus on work‑life balance. Consistent 3/4 day per week schedule; every 4th Saturday preferred. No overnight or holiday commitments. Ability to manage a variety of case types including general practice, urgent and critical care. Best‑in‑class dual‑layer mentorship program for new graduates. Facilities and Equipment Digital x‑ray and digital dental x‑ray systems. In‑house laboratory capabilities including Idexx Catalyst & ProCyte, urinalysis with sediments, FeLV and other ELISA tests, and full service external lab work capabilities. Esaote ultrasound for abdominal and echocardiogram. Isoflurane/Sevoflurane anesthesia. Excellent surgical monitoring capabilities including ECG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. Complete pharmacy – large inventory of established pharmaceuticals. Newest version of Cornerstone – paper‑lite clinic. Good working relationship with local rescue groups. Electrocautery surgery. Therapeutic cold laser. Recently completed 4 new exam rooms.
