Forklift Operator

Overview:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment in a traditional warehouse environment. Duties include picking and relocating parts per customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring a clean and accessible workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picks, moves, and distributes materials based on customer and work orders.
• Transports items from storage to designated areas using forklifts.
• Accurately tracks, scans, and counts inventory as required.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and assists with facilities maintenance as needed.
• Completes Forklift TPM tasks timely and complies with EHS standards and rules.

Requirements:

• Prior forklift certification required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer literacy, including WMS experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties accurately and work with frequent distractions.
• Compliance with company environmental, health, and safety standards.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, and turn at the waist.
• Regular lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, and pull as needed.
• Requires specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
