Position: Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift Location: Middletown, PA Job Id: 367 # of Openings: 1 Warehouse Supervisor - Outbound - 2nd Shift Job Description Summary Role Overview : The Warehouse Supervisor oversees receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping processes in a distribution environment, focusing on one of these areas to ensure high customer service, efficiency, and safety. The role supports site objectives through strategic personnel management and process improvement. Shift : 2nd Shift, Wednesday‑Saturday Collaborate to meet company goals (productivity, accuracy, timeliness, cost‑effectiveness). Manage inbound, outbound, or inventory operations, including general warehouse activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and service level agreements. Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment. Plan schedules and assign duties to handle fluctuating workloads. Perform or assist with tasks similar to those supervised. Supervise, train, provide feedback, and assign duties to direct reports. Prepare daily reports analyzing production and shipping. Required Qualifications : Associate’s Degree or 2 years’ experience as a team lead/supervisor in warehousing/distribution. Bilingual (language not specified). Strong attention to detail, quality control, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Clear understanding of warehouse distribution and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills and basic math skills. Excellent judgment, delegation, and issue escalation skills. Punctual, reliable, and regular attendance. High‑pressure, time‑sensitive warehouse setting. Noisy and potentially cold conditions. Physical Requirements : Lift up to 49 pounds repetitively. Stand/walk for 10-12 hours. Push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements. Engage in physical activities like climbing, lifting, balancing, and handling materials. Comfortable with varying noise levels. Ability to assess work accuracy and product quality.
