Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to be part of our flourishing imaging team, which prides itself on delivering world-class medical services. In this role, you will leverage advanced ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic tasks while collaborating with a nurturing group of healthcare professionals to provide reassurance through precise and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures by communicating each step with kindness and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of top-notch diagnostic images
• Safely operate and maintain imaging equipment and promptly report any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Stay updated on evolving ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Essential Skills

• Proficient technical knowledge of sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills highly regarded
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
