Substitute Secretary/Exam ProctorSubstitute Secretary/Exam Proctor:Excellent communication skillsStrong customer service skillsFlexiblePositive attitudeHigh School DiplomaExperience working with students is a plusMaintain student, building, staff and district confidentiality at all timesExam Proctor Performance Responsibilities:Set up Testing SpaceCheck in students/confirm attendance with attendance officeMonitor students on Test Day ToolkitMonitor testing roomCollect all materialsAdhere to standardized testing guidelines (NO CELL PHONES in any testing room)Communicate with Assistant Principal/Admin as neededAbility to stand and move throughout the entire testing periodSubstitute Secretary Performance Responsibilities:Answer telephone, transfer calls as needed, take messagesGreet parents and other guests in welcoming & positive mannerMonitor building visitors, sign-in sheets and distribution of name tagsAssist faculty/staff as requested: Make copies, cut out learning materials, organize files, laminating, etc.Help with copy machine problems; toner, jams, etc.Provide information to subs upon arrival; potentially check in using Safe VisitorSign and document bus notesWatch referred students in the office or detention room until teacher or administrator is availableDismiss early departure studentsMonitor bus and weather radiosTake daily attendance and check attendance line for call insMake phone calls for student absences not previously called or emailed to schoolSort and Distribute Inter office school mail in timely fashionSort and Distribute USPS mail in timely fashionDistribute information as needed to classroomsOther tasks as requested by Administrative Staff
