About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its national organization. The CEO will be the strategic and operational leader, working closely with the Board of Directors to advance the organization's mission and long-term priorities. This role is pivotal in representing the company nationally, strengthening relationships with industry executives, government agencies, and strategic partners, and expanding the company's visibility and influence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial health, operational performance, and long-term sustainability of the organization, and will be expected to drive strategies that enhance member engagement, recruitment, and retention. The ideal candidate for the CEO position at the company will have a proven track record of leading and scaling a complex organization, with experience in a membership association or similar stakeholder environment. While direct experience in design-build is not mandatory, familiarity with the architecture, engineering, construction, or built-environment ecosystem is highly valued. The role requires a leader with strong business and financial acumen, the ability to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and a commitment to the company's mission of advancing design-build project delivery. The CEO will also be responsible for ensuring the organization remains the leading source of education and professional development in the industry, as well as championing policies that promote the adoption of design-build best practices.
