Job TitleSubsidiary: OmniSourceResponsibilitiesPerform truck and trailer repairPerform emergency on the road repairDiagnose and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.Perform repair and maintenance of containersMust maintain preventative maintenance schedules, garage and maintenance areaMust order and maintain parts inventoryQualificationsMust possess State of Michigan truck mechanic certifications and CDL - AMust have welding and fabrication skillsAbility and willingness to work flexible hours which may include nights and weekendsAbility to perform truck and trailer repair, emergency on the road repairAbility to perform emergency on the road repair and diagnosis and repair of crane/loader/forklift/skid steer/etc.Ability to perform repair and maintenance of containersComply with Federal DOT inspections and record keepingAbility to work in all kinds of weather conditionsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPossess a clear understanding and adherence to safety regulationsKnowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systemsBe able to supply own basic toolsSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
