Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg and ICU Department. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

This position is critical for maintaining high standards of patient care and requires a collaborative approach among team members. The Registered Nurse will report to the Director of the Emergency Department.

Education and Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
• Acute critical care experience within the last 12 months is preferred.
• EMT and ED Tech candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing may also be considered.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• MICN certification is desirable and should be completed within one year of hire.
• Additional certifications (MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN) are encouraged and recommended.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role may involve frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching above shoulders, sitting, walking, and standing. The ability to perform repetitive hand motions, and the occasional need to lift, transfer, or push patients is required. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
