Director of Operations – STRUCTURAL STEEL $175,000 base salary + benefits You have spent years delivering structural-steel projects. You understand the fabrication shop. You know what it takes to lead erection crews in the field. You have managed project teams, protected margins, built client relationships and stepped in when a difficult project needed decisive leadership. Now, you are ready to run the division. A well-established, full-service structural-steel fabricator and erector is looking for a Divisional Manager to lead its Central and South Texas operations. This is not simply a senior project management position. You will take ownership of the division’s people, projects, customers and financial performance. You will: Lead project management and field erection teams Take responsibility for divisional budgets, forecasting and profitability Oversee multiple structural-steel projects from award through completion Support estimating, preconstruction and contract negotiations Develop client relationships and help secure new business Manage schedules, subcontractors, change orders and commercial risk Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing operational team Ensure every project meets the required safety, quality and delivery standards We are looking for someone with: 15+ years of construction or structural-steel experience 10+ years in operational leadership Strong knowledge of structural-steel fabrication and erection Experience managing project and field operations P&L, budgeting and forecasting responsibility A commercial mindset with experience developing customer relationships The ability to lead several complex projects simultaneously This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of an established Texas division, influence its growth and build a team capable of delivering the projects others struggle to execute. #J-18808-Ljbffr Novax Recruitment Group
