Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our rehabilitation center, which features modern treatment areas designed to optimize patient care. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the physical condition of patients, setting specific functional goals based on individual needs and capabilities.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one individual per hour to provide quality, focused care while ensuring all patient objectives are met.
• Administer evidence-based therapies designed to enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities, while minimizing reliance on medication.
• Employ diverse therapeutic techniques to formulate comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating modalities that address specific issues encountered by clients.
• Create and implement customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to each patient to facilitate smooth recoveries and enhance overall health.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to promote adherence to their rehabilitation programs.
• Document services meticulously and maintain accurate patient records to allow for consistent communication and the monitoring of progress.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide well-rounded patient care.
• Review and evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and rehabilitation needs post-accident. The therapist will interact with each patient to develop rehabilitation strategies that cater to their individual circumstances, fostering an environment where patients feel heard and respected.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher (MPT or DPT) in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Clean record with no disciplinary actions related to the physical therapy license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in administering cost-effective therapies that significantly enhance patients' mobility and quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits
