This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution - you'll shape how we attract, evaluate, and welcome talent, while also rolling up your sleeves to manage day-to-day recruiting operations. You'll be a core member of our People & Culture team, partnering closely with hiring managers across the business and building the foundation for our future hiring needs. If you love the idea of joining a small, close-knit team where your work has visible, immediate impact, and you're excited to grow into new responsibilities as we scale - this role is for you.What You'll DoOwn the full recruitment lifecycle end-to-end from intake and sourcing through offer and handoff to onboarding — ensuring a smooth, exciting experience for every candidateDevelop and execute proactive, strategic sourcing plans to build strong talent pipelines, including for technical and specialized rolesPartner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and align on hiring strategyManage and optimize our recruiting tech stack (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, Built In, Glassdoor, HackerRank, Checkr), and evaluate additional tools to improve the recruiter and new hire experienceShape and strengthen our employer branding to attract top talent in a competitive marketDesign and continuously improve our hiring processes, interview frameworks, and candidate experienceEnsure a seamless, well-coordinated handoff from recruiting to onboarding for new hiresTake on People & Culture projects beyond recruiting as needed, contributing to broader team initiativesBuild scalable hiring processes and plans in anticipation of future roles and growthWhat You'll Bring5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of managing full-cycle recruitingTechnical recruiting experience — comfort sourcing and evaluating candidates for engineering or other technical rolesStrong knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and interviewing methodsExperience with vendor management and optimizing recruiting tools and processesStrong relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers across departmentsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsStrong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to provide insights and data-driven recommendationsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComfort and curiosity with AI tools — we're an AI-forward company and encourage using AI to work smarter across recruiting and day-to-day tasksOpenness and enthusiasm for taking on additional People & Culture projects and evolving responsibilitiesExcitement about working within a small, close-knit team where collaboration and adaptability matterBased in Austin, TX or willing to relocate and work in-office Tuesday through ThursdayBase salary range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually.
