Dams, Levees, and Civil Works Business Class Lead

Responsibilities Managing staff and staff workload Business class technical development Developing and maintaining client relationships Identifying and winning project opportunities Delivering successful projects Performing technical work Mentoring junior staff Building teams Collaborating with professionals across HDR Managing projects with high technical complexity Complying with QA/QC requirements Candidate will produce and coordinate several projects concurrently, while collaborating with our regional and national technical and business leadership. This position offers additional opportunities for travel and working within other regions of practice across Idaho and the United States. Preferred Qualifications Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand. Professional Engineer in Idaho State or ability to obtain Idaho PE license within 6 months. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse project team; and travel as required for project or other business assignments. Ability to function as an active team player in a diverse multidisciplinary environment. Experience with supervising staff and an interest in client and business development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field 10 years of experience Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience Experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must #J-18808-Ljbffr HDR, Inc.
