Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate (required)
• Solid understanding of special education procedures and IEPs
• Experience with PreK and Kindergarten curriculum and instructional strategies
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Passion for fostering inclusion and providing differentiated support

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual learning needs for PreK and Kindergarten students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, goals, and strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success
• Create a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages student participation and social-emotional growth

Position Details:

• Onsite at a high school
• Approximately 4 hours per day, 4 days per week
• Contract dates: ASAP through May 2027
• Manage a PreK and Kindergarten caseload, contributing expertise in early intervention
