Position Summary Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead – lead the prepared foods and café teams, drive sales, ensure quality service, maintain regulatory standards, grow and train staff, leverage technology, and achieve business results. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the prepared foods teams, including rotations, staffing, and member needs. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of floor and back‑room operations, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Manage seasonality, new product launches, recipe updates, and production specifications. Collaborate with associates and third‑party partners to secure resources, training, and equipment. Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to make real‑time business decisions, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Plan for profitability, maintain a clean and safe work area, audit compliance, and present merchandise according to layout plans. Train, mentor, and develop the team, addressing skill gaps and encouraging career growth. Promote adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, supporting a culture of integrity and compliance. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team. Minimum age of 18 years. Ability to complete required job training and assessments within the specified time frame. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising a team. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
