Mulesoft QA/Tester

OverviewAs a MuleSoft QA/Tester, you will work with our growing DevSecOps & Salesforce practices delivering quality assurance services to support application, cloud and data systems development. For this role, integration testing experience with Mulesoft is required. This effort leverages Public Sector Foundation - Advanced (PSFA) and integrates systems using MuleSoft.ContributionsExecutes detailed test scenarios for MuleSoft Integrations and Salesforce applications, including functional, regression, and integration testingLogs defects, validates fixes, and ensures that the system meets the defined acceptance criteria before deployment. Meets with product design team to determine testing parametersWrites test plans, create test cases, test procedures, bug reports, final QA reports for productsManages test data architecture with the Tech LeadTroubleshoots errors and streamline the test proceduresTests and examines code written by others analyzing results, including three or more of the following:Data validation testingFunctional testingPerformance and load testingUsability testingAccessibility (508) testingEstablishes automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automationProvides validation testing of different system and data sets for SalesforceUnderstands the needs of stakeholders and conveys this to developersImproves development, testing, deployment, and release processesEnsures that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsWorks with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intendedDocuments as-is state of the environment, performs a gap analysis, and produces artifacts that articulate options and recommendations Works with teams to bring continuous improvement to DevSecOps processes and toolsEngineers and implements solutions and provides recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedPresents regular status updates and provides cross training to other DevOps team membersQualificationsMust be able to maintain a U.S. Government security clearanceBachelor's Degree required; equivalency offered5 years of related experience in software/IT/cloud consultingExperience testing using the MuleSoft MUnit frameworkExperience with the Mulesoft Platform, Public Sector Solutions (PSS) Salesforce Flows, and OmniStudioExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skillsExperience with documenting an as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations preferredPreferredCertifications a plus:CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing)International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) CertificationCertified Manager of Software Testing (CMST)DHS Trusted Tester Certification (TTv5)DevSecOps Experience with actual/active development experience in an Agile environmentExperience with performance and load testingExperience utilizing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as KubernetesExperience implementing test automation, using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, RestAssured, PostmanExperience integrating test automation including performance, security, and functional tests into CI/CD PipelinesCurrent or previous DHS CBP Clearance is preferredAbout steampunkSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
