Family Law Associate Attorney

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team with at least 2 years of litigation experience\*. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of family law procedures, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases with enthusiasm and professionalism. We are a close-knit team offering a great collaborative work environment (both in person and virtual) that is family friendly. You many be asked to report in person, virtual is granted once up to speed on all policy and procedure.

\*Attorneys with less or no experience as a family law attorney are also encouraged to apply without bonus eligibility due to anticipated training costs. The anticipated training costs will be factored into starting salary with a review in 90 days to assess whether additional training is needed or whether the candidate is ready to work independently with a salary increase.

In addition, if you have any probate experience, we would be very interested in speaking with you.

*Duties*

* Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and spousal support cases, etc.
* Draft legal documents such as motions that require legal research, separation agreements, trial management certificates, and confidential settlements for mediations with precision and clarity
* Maintain detailed case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures
* Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases and comfortable working in a team based environment
* Comfortable with technology

*Experience*

* Minimum 2 years of litigation experience with contested hearings preferably in Family Law and demonstrate the ability to negotiate effectively and handle litigation processes confidently
* Proven experience practicing family law with a strong track record of successful case management and client advocacy
* Manage Family Law Cases independently from start to finish
* Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to clients
* Ability to draft legal documents such as motions that require legal research, separation agreements, trial management certificates, and confidential settlements for mediation

We also offer the potential to make well over $185,000 with a commission based platform for attorneys who generate their own referrals.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
