Senior Claims Representative

Working fully remote, the full-time Senior Claims Representative will manage a portfolio of bodily injury claims, evaluate compensability and liability, conduct investigations, and negotiate settlements within their authority. Key responsibilities Manage an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability and liability Plan and conduct claim investigations to confirm coverage and determine damages Negotiate appropriate claim settlements and authorize payments in a timely manner Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in property and casualty claims handling Completion of or progress toward a professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC) preferred Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling procedures
