As a Loop Recorder Device Specialist, you will be responsible for remotely monitoring patients with implantable loop recorder devices utilizing the PaceMate's proprietary software. The ILR Specialist utilizes knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology and biomedical engineering concepts to assess the technical function of the patient's ILR, analyze and interpret device and patient diagnostics, and perform accurate clinical documentation as determined by the Company's best practice standards. This unique role will also work closely with the Product team to streamline the ILR workflow and management within the software.

Integrate a knowledge base from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device function to perform competent evaluations, diagnostic review, and overall analysis through remote monitoring on our proprietary software platform.

Recognize abnormal function and programming of loop recorders and recommend strategies to address and correct issues.

Communicate with clinical team and providers regarding ILR function and diagnostic data through accurate, professional, and standardized documentation.

Collaborate with product team to develop business requirements for loop recorder management.

Adhere to scheduling protocols for remote monitoring per best practice and the Company guidelines.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) standards/protocols.

Maintain appropriate levels of current knowledge and the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply departmental policies.

Analyze, access, input, and retrieve data.

Report pertinent information and assist with tasks to support department operations.

Maintain basic knowledge of PaceMate products and services.

Assist in ensuring consistency in practices and PaceMate Mission, Vision, and Customer Service standards are met.

Education, Training and Experience:

Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two or more years of experience in the Cardiac Rhythm Management industry is required.

Hands-on experience interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for at least three of the four major manufacturers: Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik

Proficiency in ECG/EGM interpretation, including complex arrhythmia recognition

Moderate to advanced technical skills

Dedicated home workspace free from distractions, with reliable internet connectivity and the ability to work independently while engaging actively with your team throughout the day

Ability to pass PaceMate's candidate technical assessment during the interview process

Minimum of two years of recent ILR management experience; LINQ preferred.

Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.

The ability to work autonomously and within a team is necessary.

Licensure and Certification:

Cardiovascular Credentialing International certification preferred (CCT, CRAT, etc.) OR

International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certificate preferred (CCDS, CEPS, or CDRMS)

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to remain in a stationary position, constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees.

You must reside within the contiguous United States.

You must only work from within the contiguous United States.

If working from, residing at a location other than your legal address that PaceMate has on file, employee must inform IT and get approval to do so.

On top of a Robust Benefit Package, we are targeting a compensation range of $34.61 - 44.23 per hour, depending on education, experience, and certifications. This evening shift will also be eligible for an additional $4.00 per hour for certain hours worked, our generous shift differential.
