Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: October 6, 2026
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 - $3,190

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience strongly preferred
High-risk OB or high-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
Collaborate with physicians, OB providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive outcomes
Assist with high-risk obstetric care and clinical support as needed
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
Maintain a calm, supportive presence in a fast-paced maternity unit
