Quality Inspector II

Join Our Team!RAF Electronic Hardware, part of MW Components, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector II to join our Quality team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.If you have experience in manufacturing quality inspection, blueprint reading, and using precision measuring equipment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoPerform in-process, incoming, and final product inspections according to established proceduresAccurately document inspection and testing resultsVerify compliance with customer, industry, and company quality standardsMaintain inspection records and controlled quality documentationDocument and report product quality issues and nonconformancesCollaborate with Production and Quality teams to identify and resolve issuesMaintain calibration records and measuring equipment in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal quality requirementsCoordinate calibration activities with approved laboratoriesEvaluate quality concerns and recommend corrective actionsMonitor quality-related equipment and instrumentationMaintain calibration systems, procedures, and recordsRead and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsPrioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentEscalate quality concerns to management when necessaryQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsWorking knowledge of precision measuring instrumentsStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred:Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI)Familiarity with GAGEtrak, Ape Software, or similar calibration management systemsKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 quality systemsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking throughout the shiftFrequent use of hands for handling, measuring, and inspecting componentsAbility to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to perform detailed visual inspections, including close vision and depth perceptionWhy Join RAF?At RAF, quality, innovation, teamwork, and customer service are at the heart of everything we do.
