Sr. Accountant

Job DescriptionThe Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting accounting activities for of all Revelyst’s brands. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented and thrives in a fast paced multi-brand environment.This position reports to the Global Accounting Manager , and based in our Irvine, California office.As the Senior Accountant, you will have an opportunity to:Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and documentation in support of the month end close.Analyze financial results and investigate variances to forecast or trendsSupport improvements and standardization to the close processContribute to consistent application of accounting guidance and company accounting policies across all brands. Improve and standardize accounting and process documentation.Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and relevant accounting standards.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.Support internal and external audits.Perform and support other general accounting activities or projects as directedYou have:Bachelor’s degree in accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting processes and US GAAP.5+ years’ progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a CPG or similar industry.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Netsuite.Ability to work in a complex organization having multiple business units, brands and ERP systems.Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support cross-functional teamsExperience with global entities, intercompany accounting and foreign currencyDemonstrated talent for improving processes and a mindset for continuous improvement.Strong work ethic, a sense of urgency and unquestioned integrity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).Ability to work on site in our Irvine, CA offices at least 4 days per week.You might have:Certified Public Accountant licenseMBA degreePay Range:Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.We offer a highly competitive salary, comprehensive benefits including: medical and dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, paid holidays, gear discounts and the ability to add value to an exciting mission!Our Postings are not intended for distribution to or use in any jurisdiction, country or territory where such distribution or use would violate local law or would subject us to any regulations in another jurisdiction, country or territory.
