Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an OR Float position requiring high-capacity operating room experience and a 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule.

Requirements

• CST certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required

Responsibilities

• OR Float unit within a high-capacity operating room
• 13-week contract with 4x10 Day/Evening rotation schedule
• Evening shifts run 1p-11p; day shifts run 7a-5:30p Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and 9a-7:30p Wednesday
• Includes 2 weeks of night shifts per contract
• Weekend scheduling includes 12-hour shifts, with 8 or 10-hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours
• At least 2 short calls required each 4-week schedule
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
• Limited RTO available during winter holidays
• Flu vaccine required during flu season; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Boston, MA may be considered at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking recommended
