Position could be located in either NYC, St Louis, Nashville, Washington DC, Philadelphia, San Diego, Cleaveland, Seattle or Phoenix. You will be part of a team focusing on permanent placements across our client portfolio. Responsibilities include sourcing for candidates, assessing their skillset and fit in an interview, presenting candidates to our clients, setting up interviews, and (the best part) offering a candidate his or her new job. All in a day's work!
What We're Looking For
- 4-6 years of experience at a staffing agency or related full life-cycle technology recruiting or recruiting support in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Undergraduate degree
- Utilizing all available tools including but not limited to job boards and LinkedIn
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Writing and posting technical job advertisements and descriptions
- Parsing specialized qualifications and skills for screening IT resumes
- Sourcing potential candidates via professional platforms, (e.g. Github, Stack Overflow)
- Staying aware of new technological products as well as the latest trends
- Onboarding new hires
- Promoting the reputation of our company as a nice workplace
- Meticulously adding notes to ATS
- Crafting and sending recruiting emails to passive candidates with current open jobs
- Performing pre-screening interviews for analyzing the abilities of candidates
- Interviewing candidates using various techniques (e.g. technical assessments, behavioral and structured questions)
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources Management or a relevant field
- Prior experience as a Technical Recruiter
- Solid technical background needed to understand as well as explain requirements for IT-related jobs
- Prior experience with conducting various types of interviews (e.g. structured, phone, Skype)
- Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Experience with various sourcing methods (e.g. Boolean search, social media recruiting etc.)
- Sound knowledge of all labor regulations and HR practices
- Sound knowledge of full cycle recruiting
- Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
What You Would Do
- Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), conduct the appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire), and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt positions with our clients
- Follow up with candidates and clients to ensure updated information on the status of the interview process

- You're professional and attentive to detail. There's nothing worse than a recruiter who makes spelling mistakes in an email, or who doesn't follow up with candidates. Email and phone etiquette are key.
- You're great at reading people. We deal with all sorts of personalities, quirks, and demands from candidates and clients alike. Be ready to put on your game face and deal with any and all challenges in a professional manner.
