About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and executive leadership across its operational and administrative functions. The COO will be a key partner to the CEO and physician leadership, with a focus on developing and executing the organization's strategic plan and annual operating priorities. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 8 years' progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management position within a physician group practice or comparable healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse portfolio, including clinic operations, revenue cycle, human resources, compliance, marketing, business development, and executive oversight of affiliated ambulatory surgery centers. Key responsibilities for the COO at the company include leading market and competitive analysis, evaluating opportunities for growth, and driving operational excellence to support the organization's commitment to high-quality, cost-effective musculoskeletal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physician practice operations, revenue cycle, financial management, and healthcare regulatory compliance. They should also possess advanced analytical skills, the ability to lead organizational change, and excellent relationship-building skills. A Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree and relevant certifications. The role demands a decisive yet approachable leadership style, with a focus on fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and collaboration.
