Project Manager, Federal Market

Project Manager – Federal Projects Company: AECOM. Location: Southern California office (Orange, San Diego, Los Angeles). The Project Manager will lead interdisciplinary projects within the Federal market sector. Job Summary / Responsibilities Lead the delivery of projects from proposal phase through client handover. Act as primary point of contact for clients and manage relationships with all stakeholders. Manage all aspects of a project including needs, schedule, fees, deliverables, contract terms, etc. Coordinate internal and external project team members. Communicate effectively in written, verbal, and presentations. Provide senior management with project updates, including status of budget, deliverables, quality, and client relationship. Manage multiple concurrent projects. Participate in project pursuits, including generation of scope of work, project team, fee production, and review of terms and conditions. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field. 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrable equivalence. Architectural licensure or Professional Engineer. U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of experience in leadership/management of complex federal architectural or engineering projects. PMP certification is a plus. Comprehensive grasp of design methodology and process. Proficient in conveying complex information clearly and concisely. Demonstrated ability to tailor communication to different audiences. Attention to detail, thoroughness, organizational skills, and time management. Team player with strong listening and diplomacy skills. Proficiency recognizing and comprehending various contract formats. Well versed in project management best practices such as earned value, proposals, contract management, change management, schedule management. Exceptional organizational abilities, adept at managing concurrent tasks efficiently. Proactively goal-driven, independent, and capable of navigating change effectively. Experience in business development/marketing activities with existing and new clients. Proficient in REVIT. Strong understanding of Microsoft Project and Power BI. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additional Information Company: AECOM. Sponsorship: Not available for this position.
