Environmental Supervising Engineer

YU & Associates is an established Engineering Firm located in Bergen County, New Jersey. The successful candidate will manage aspects of important projects including proposal development, budget, project execution and scheduling and client communications. Participates in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well‑defined tasks. These tasks may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. The candidate will be dedicated to managing environmental issues proactively and professionally. Job Responsibilities Create solutions to environmental problems. Build upon existing solutions to make them better. Prepare, review, and update environmental investigation reports. Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures. Provide technical support for environmental remediation projects. Analyze scientific data and perform quality‑control checks. Monitor the progress of environmental improvement programs. Address problems and develop environmental solutions to prevent damage. Collaborate with scientists, planners and experts. Monitor progress and provide recommendations reports. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering required. 5+ Years of Experience is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Documentation skills. Sound engineering judgment, analytical capabilities, and report writing skills. Ability to think on large and small scales. Familiarity with quality assurance, documentation, environmental rules, regulations, and best practices. Strong computer skills. Additional Requirements Regular field work in a variety of seasonal conditions. A valid driver’s license. Travel is required for this position.
