Production Associate

We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shift. 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday. 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday – Thursday. An Electronics Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub‑assemblies including soldering, machine operation, and final assembly. Production Associates must follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision. The role reports to the Production Supervisor. Hours of work: afternoon shift. Responsibilities Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panel. Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Use hand tools, power tools, machines or other equipment to perform work. May perform assembly operations under microscope or another magnifying device. Inspect own work to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Conduct quality checks periodically. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness by meeting all productivity and quality objectives. Communicate with team and support staff to ensure continuous production at high‑quality levels. Skills and Abilities Required Advanced soldering and repair/rework skills. Ability to use solder extractor tools. Basic computer skills – accurate with data entry. Good math skills with the ability to count and measure. Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception. Vision sufficient to accurately measure in a fraction of an inch. Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering iron. Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions. Comprehend written and verbal assignments. Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environment. Required Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED. Physical Activity Requirements Work Environment: Production environment where the noise level is generally moderately noisy. Work Position: Primarily sitting. Body Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Weight Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Sensory Requirements: Vision, speech, hearing, smell, and touch are routinely used in day‑to‑day functions. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $17–$23 per hour; a shift differential may also be provided depending on the work hours. Full‑time employees are also eligible for performance‑based bonuses and benefits.
