Job Summ aryThe Laboratory Technician supports R&D operations by compounding flavor formulations, managing laboratory requests, and maintaining laboratory organization and inventory. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle of lab requests, from receipt through formulation, compounding, labeling, and shipment, while ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP requirements. The Laboratory Technician works primarily within the R&D team and communicates as needed with Sales and other internal stakeholders to support project executi on. Responsibilities and Duti es: Compound formulations as prescribed by flavor istsConduct organoleptic evaluations of new and revised formulati ons.Maintain and restock the Preferred Product Library (P PL).Oversee laboratory upkeep, including proper storage of glassware and materi als.Manage laboratory sample requests and collaborate with flavorists to determine the best method for processing and fulfillm ent.Coordinate preparation and direct shipment of samples to custom ers.Adhere to GMP and GLP standards to ensure product quality and personnel saf ety. Qualifications and Ski lls: Bachelor’s degree in a science-based field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology), or an equivalent combination of education and experi ence.Laboratory and/or culinary science experience prefe rred.Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneo usly.Ability to understand science-based materials and perform basic mathematical calculat ions.Effective written and verbal communication sk ills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory computer sys tems.Willingness to participate in ongoing training to support professional growth and development of flavor formulation sk #J-18808-Ljbffr Unlimited Savory Systems
